I want to take this moment to thank all of the DPT family: therapists, parents, caregivers and children, as 2021 comes to a close.  It has been another year of perseverance.  We did an amazing job.  We never quit at Darling Pediatric Therapies.  We continued to provide the best therapy services we could for our families.  We fight for your benefits with your private insurance and GA Medicaid for all of our families.   We don’t take erroneous denials sitting down.   We filed for pre-authorizations, pre-determinations, appeals and prior- authorizations last year and will continue to do so in the coming year with your assistance.   All of you adapted to telehealth, quarantines and our new norms.  Therapists have been more creative in the clinic to maintain safety, sensory and social distancing.   We clean in new ways and with every cleaning product under the sun.  And we never stopped washing our hands and everyone else’s too.  We mask when we need to and always respect everyone’s wishes.  We continue to adapt to the constantly changing rules and regulations of the CDC and the Governor of Georgia.  We adapt.  We make it work.  We are therapists and families of children with special needs and we do therapy well.  We will continue to meet the needs of our community as we head into 2022, as a DPT family.  And we will do it in the same fashion and dedication to the safety and well-being of all, as we did in 2021.

We are an amazing team and I thank each and every one of you for being part of the DPT family.   As it is the sum of our parts that make us a success.
