Sensory Gyms
Sensory Gyms
Our two sensory gyms have different themes, which you can see on our VIRTUAL TOUR. One has a Train Depot motif with a nearly life size train engine that the children can climb into, ring the bell, have a space to do an activity in the train engine and slide down. The other has a jungle theme with overgrown leaves and animals with a fort and slide with hiding spots. We have suspended equipment, a ball pit, a climbing wall, slides, ladders, steps and more. We can work on a child’s regulation, strength and coordination in our gyms. We provide one on one therapy. We often have social opportunities in our gym for a child to have an opportunity to work on social skills with another peer (who is getting their own one on one therapy) with taking turns on equipment and if appropriate doing an activity such as ball play or a puzzle game.
