On August 3rd, 2009, Darling Pediatric Therapies opened its doors for the first time with only two occupational therapists, one speech language pathologist and one physical therapist, and only one office suite of # 113. We proudly served our families as we continually looked for ways to grow and improve. Fast forward to August 3rd, 2021 and you’ll find:
- We have two office suites
- Suite 113- the Main Suite with Jungle Motif gym
- Suite 109- the Train Depot
- We have a team of seventeen professionals
- One owner, one office manager
- Eight occupational therapists, six speech language pathologists and one physical therapist
- DPT strongly advocated and was instrumental in Medicaid’s payment of speech therapy with AAC (apps on mobile devices)
- We changed our model to provide both in-person and telehealth sessions during COVID
- We currently provide therapy six days a week
- We are In Network providers for BCBS, Cigna, Humana, Tricare, and Medicaid
- We are established on social media (Facebook and Instagram)
- We have a Website with a BLOG and are on GOOGLE reviews
Most importantly, we have appreciated the opportunity to have worked with hundreds of children and their families over our twelve years. On behalf of the DPT family, I want to thank each and every one of you for letting us a part of your family’s life.
